The Benelli’s Ultra Light shotgun ( for sale ) series, in 12-gauge (6 lbs.), 20-gauge (5.2 lbs.) and 28-gauge (5.0 lbs.), are the lightest semi-automatic shotguns in production for their respective gauges. The Ultra Light features a featherweight alloy receiver, shortened magazine tube, and a super-strong, super-light, carbon-fiber rib.
The raised target rib is unique in that it is made from the same super-light, super-strong carbon fiber used to make Formula 1 race cars. The inertia-driven system used in the ultra light makes for a clean, reliable, and adjustment-free firearm.
